the challenge
The Council of Australian Life Insurers (CALI) was established in 2022 to help Australians to make more informed choices about their future and help them live in a healthy, confident and secure way over their lifetime. Their mission is to be the leading voice of life insurance in Australia.
When CALI approached Enspire, it was eager to host a launch event that would reflect its mission and the industry they represent. It aimed to bring members together to connect and address some of the aspects they face going forward as a group.
The launch event needed to feel fresh and represent new beginnings for Australians and allow for networking and information sharing.
CALI’s members are life insurance companies (including reinsurers) registered with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. The 19 members of CALI represent 99% of the life insurance market and all reinsurers in Australia.
the enspire touch
Enspire located a venue which reflected CALI’s preference for a fresh Australian theme, hosting the event on the top floor of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, overlooking Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. The event included breakfast canapes, barista coffees, and cold pressed CALI-branded juices. Local Land Council Representative, Brendan, officiated a Welcome to Country, a Smoking Ceremony and a Didgeridoo performance before guests moved inside to hear from a panel of engaging speakers including CALI’s CEO Christine Cupitt, Damien Mu, Rosie Thomas and Alan Merten.
Enspire located the perfect venue and managed event invitations and guest registration, sourcing and booking all suppliers, including florals, audio visual, juice and coffee carts, venue styling, a photographer, the media wall and a Local Land Council Representative. Enspire also selected items of sustainable merchandise to be branded and packed in CALI gift bags for guests to take home.
The event ran seamlessly and was a huge success with positive feedback from the CALI team and their guests.
