the challenge
The Department of Communities and Justice is an important and multifaceted portfolio of the NSW Government. Recent changes were making an already overloaded departmental-wide intranet problematic for frontline MFWW staff to find the information they needed.
The MFWW district of the Department of Communities and Justice covers the largest geographical region of NSW and is at the frontline of diverse community support. Case workers in these regions need important information at their fingertips so they can get the best outcomes for their communities.
With an existing intranet that merged several departments, MFWW were having enormous difficulty finding the information on the departmental-wide intranet site. Information was often moved or hard to surface which made it challenging for staff. They needed a simpler way.
The Murrumbidgee, Far West & Western NSW District (MFWW) of the Department of Communities and Justice covers the largest geographical region of NSW.
the enspire touch
Enspire heard the challenges facing the MFWW team, listening carefully to their wants and needs. We designed a new, engaging, and user-friendly intranet site designed specifically for the needs of MFWW district staff.
The intuitive layout of the site not only looked engaging, but contained new and existing information that was easy to find and use – making it a trusted source of truth for staff.
Enspire managed the project from idea to launch. This included ideation, coordination, build, test, content development and extensive stakeholder engagement and internal communications to ensure the project’s success and adoption by MFWW staff.
