Veolia needed specialist support to update its Crisis Management Plan and ensure it was prepared to manage crises and issues effectively.

An Enspire consultant worked closely with the Veolia Corporate Affairs team and its Sustainability PR agency, The Bravery, to rework its out-of-date Crisis and Business Continuity Plans, including facilitating crisis preparedness simulations.  

Refreshing Veolia’s Asia-Pacific Crisis Plan: Enspire worked with business leads to refresh Veolia’s Crisis Plan to make it up to date and simpler to use, and aligning to Veolia’s Global Crisis Plan. 

Facilitating crisis preparedness sessions: Our Enspire team facilitated sessions with the people who play a role in the Crisis Management Plan, to ensure these people were prepared and knew what they were accountable for during a crisis. We prepared scenarios and ran these through a desk-top simulation across Asia Pacific. We updated the Crisis Plan as a result of these sessions to ensure it was tested and challenged. 

Crisis and issues and communication support: Enspire supported Veolia on a number of issues, including water contamination and personal injury as a result of a council recycling contract. We provided media management, internal and customer communications support to help manage Veolia’s reputation during these incidents.
